My trip back East

About a year ago I had the wonderful opportunity to travel East, I went to Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, The Carolinas, etc. It was a lot of fun and I got to see things such as Amish country, New York City, The Statue of Liberty, Civil War battlefields, and the main Hershey Chocolate factory in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

My next destination: Washington D.C. Well, that's my dream anyways, but I don't know how soon that trip will happen. But it's definitely on my list of places I'd like to visit.

A little about my trip: Virginia and Maryland were very pretty, there were old, old houses everywhere. Big colonial style homes on green rolling hills with big oak trees, the picture of perfection if you ask me. Pennsylvania had the same look, it is absolutely gorgeous there. I think it was probably my favorite state, everywhere you looked was picturesque, no exaggeration.

New York and New Jersey were also very pretty, as well as North and South Carolina.

New York City is really cool and seeing the Statue of Liberty pretty much left me speechless, which is pretty amazing in itself. LOL.

Amish country was absolutely delightful. Everything seemed so quaint and old fashioned, the children were working in the gardens or plowing the fields, they always had a dog with them. The houses were very large and old, and there were horses and buggies everywhere.

I would definitely go back if I could, I really did love it back there. Now, I'll quit rambling on and on about it and I'll post a few pictures! :-)
